Hi. My name is Abhishek Mishra, a fourth-year (2006-2007) student at UC Berkeley. If you are looking at this page you are perhaps recruiting for your company/project and want to find out if I am worth my salt. Well no need for formalities here, and so you can call me 'Abhi', as most of my friends do. Before you go on to the other (likely more relevant) portions of this site, let me tell you a little bit about myself. I am majoring in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (abbreviated EECS and pronounced 'eeks'), which happens to be one department at Berkeley. Electrical Engineering and Computer Science @ UC Berkeley This actually gives us the opportunity to explore both areas freely, which in my opinion (and most others in this major) allows us to not only find something that interests us, but gain greater understanding of the two closely-related fields than would be affordable normally. What I find most fascinating about my experience at Berkeley is how the coursework teaches you something more important than the material itself - it builds up the ability to learn and understand, something resembling aptitude more than skill.

But on to more interesting things. Outside of school I enjoy a wide variety of activities to occupy my time. I play tennis as part of the Tennis Club on campus, hang out with friends and watch a movie or a TV show, or (goes without saying?) play video/computer games. For quickies in between classes or work I like to peruse my favorite websites (you can find some of them along theright side of this page) or talk to my high school buddies at other colleges on Ventrilo (voice chat).
